As many of you saw on Instagram, I asked my followers to direct message and comment questions to help them get to know us better. I will be doing this periodically on Instagram and Facebook, because new things are always happening! I threw in a few old questions that I am always asked, or that I never got around to answering!
Q. Where did you and Rich meet?
A. In the summer of 2007, August to be exact, I got hired at a local convenience store. It just so happens that Rich worked there too. We became friends right away and I started falling for him quickly. We had our first kiss in September and made us official in January of 2008!
Q. How is the wedding planning going?
A. LOL, well... I have my dress and shoes (maybe, they were on clearance so I got them because they were so cheap), my maids, the venue is booked and is starting to get paid off, I have our "save the dates", and a have a really cute binder that organizes everything. But that's it! We need to start making appointments and booking things ASAP! I just hate being stressed, and I am already stressed so I am afraid of the added stress! But we have about 9/10 months so we have a little time before I explode!
Q. What is your natural hair color?
A. I am natural a brunette that would turn to a blonde color in the summer before I started dying it. I have had EVERY normal color possible, brown, black, red, blonde-- all in different shades! I also had a blue streak that I FINALLY got rid of after 3, THREE years. My hair will be blonde for the wedding!
Q. What size is your curling wand?
A. I am not too sure! I figured the best way to answer this question is buy posting a picture of what it is. It's from Sally's Beauty store! I'm sure they sell it online too!
Q. How old is Breella?
A. Breella is almost 6 months old! She was born on Valentine's day this year, making her 5 weeks early! She weight 5lbs 15oz! She was perfectly healthy though. She was supposed to be born on St. Patrick's day. So technically she should be considered 4 months old and 3 weeks developmentally, but nope! She's actually really advanced! As of August 1st, she is 17lbs 12oz and is 26in long!
Q. Where did Breella get her blue eyes from?
A. Blue eyes is a really strong gene on my dad's side of the family. But since my mom is 1/2 black the brown eye genes dominated his and gave me brown (booo). Breella has the same shade of blue as my dad. When she was born she had really deep newborn blue eyes that just got lighter as she got "older". Certain colors really make her eyes pop like his, its cool. I'm not saying that her eyes will never change, but for now they are a light blue. She also has my dads dirty blonde hair color but her hair is starting to get darker like how mine was a baby!
Q. When did you first follow Themorrismanual (Crystal), and when did you to click an become BFFs?
A. I started following Crystal when I found out I was pregnant with Breella I believe, I can't remember when I followed her but I was a quiet follower. One day she posted a picture of Elena's ultrasound and I said that it's a girl because the nub was forked. So then we started talking on Facebook and we basically clicked right away. We have so much in common and we kept, and still are growing closer and closer. Although we live 7 hours away, she is my best friend. I love her and her family ❤.
Q. How do you deal with the "know it all" moms on Instagram?
A. Simple! I don't. I pay absolutely no attention to what others have to say when it comes to knowing it all UNLESS its life saving OR I asked for advice. I am my child's mother and I know what is best for her. So anything else is irrelevant! But if they get really out of hand, I just block them. Problem solved!... For the most part.
Q. Will you open a Youtube account?A. I actually have a Youtube account. Its https://www.youtube.com/user/brittanybree1. I have not gone on it in FOREVER though. The videos are really old and I need to fix up the page before really getting into it. But maybe, if people show interest in it. It would not be daily vlogs though or anything. Mostly covers of me singing, and the weird and funny ideas that Rich and I come up with!
